Hello lovelies! I have been swamped with work lately, so I’ve been neglecting this blog a bit. My bad! I’ve come up for air for a while to feature one of my favorite projects, the logo and website design for Katie Vee Photography.
Katie Venezia is a young photographer (she’s only 23!) who has a degree in Advertising from Boston University. Her style is very relaxed, and you can see from her photos that she makes her clients feel relaxed as well. It was such a joy working with her because she really is a no-fuss person who knows exactly what she wants and can communicate it clearly too. I just love clients like those! 🙂
She asked for a look that was vibrant, fun, creative, and classic. For her logo, she wanted a handwritten calligraphy feel, but it had to be a design that could be translated into a stamp. The gold background behind the flowers can be removed when needed.
Here is the brand board that I came up with for her logo and website.
Here is how her homepage looks:
Her website has an integrated blog, which I also designed to match everything else. The gold rose vine graphic I used on her homepage buttons are repeated on the sidebar widget titles. Thin gold borders surround each widget and entry. The overall look is still clean, organized, and fun.
