branding tips for growing businesses by fancy girl design studio

Branding is likely the reason that you affiliate yourself with certain brands or seem to have an instant connection. One of the reasons this happens is because a business is able to clearly define who they are and what they represent. If you happen to have a business that you’re trying to grow, it is imperative that you understand the significance of branding, which is more or less your brand’s voice and personality. If you haven’t been successful at defining your brand personality or are currently in the middle of rebranding, then this article may be useful to you. It’s going to explore a few branding tips that every growing business needs.

Know What Your Core Message is

One of the first tips to think about when branding your business is what your core message is. This should have ideally been established when you devised your business plan. However, it isn’t set in stone, so you can always revisit it where necessary. It is key that you know what your core message is as that’s what your target audience will connect and relate with. In addition to this, knowing your core message will help you determine the best tone, language, and direction for your content which is also important for SEO purposes. Some tips for defining your brand include asking questions like what your mission is, the benefits and features of your products and services, what qualities you want prospects to associate with your company and what they already think of you.

a vision board helps identify your core message

(Oftentimes it helps to have a vision board when you’re trying to figure out what your core message is)

Ensure Branding Message and SEO are Aligned

As briefly mentioned above, branding is also key for SEO purposes. In light of this, ensuring your branding message and your SEO are aligned is another tip you should take into consideration. This is important because your branding message should determine your target audience, the way you communicate with them, and the sort of content you create, which also influences your SEO strategy. If the two aren’t aligned, it’s likely that you won’t attract the right audiences and you also won’t rank in the search engines for the right things. In case you’re unsure regarding whether your branding and SEO are aligned, perhaps consider doing a detailed content check. You can also do it alongside a technical SEO audits as a means of evaluating the search engine friendliness of your site before changing any content that may not align with your brand.

Be Consistent

When branding your business, another tip you should take on board is being as consistent as possible. If not, you could end up confusing prospective audiences as your messaging will likely be all over the place. Some ways that you can be consistent when branding are by blogging consistently if you choose to, creating content that matters to your customers, posting on social media regularly, and keeping your tone, messaging and standard the same throughout all of your platforms.

have consistent message across social media, blogs, and other platforms

Branding is key at every stage of your business, but it’s also very critical in the early stages. This is when people are being introduced to your brand, so it’s imperative that you know who you are and what you represent. Once you’re able to effectively share your brand with the world, it should give you clearer direction regarding what direction to grow in.

Your brand is your manifesto, your one-word or symbol declaration of who you are and what you stand for. It doesn't have to be true yet, but it's what you want to be, and how you want people to see you. If you're successful, your brand's perception will become its reality.

Creatively adventurous, bold, upscale, and establi Creatively adventurous, bold, upscale, and established. Not an easy set of keywords to visualize, but here's the moodboard and color palette for this talented workplace designer.

The color palette has very midcentury modern vibes, and one that I am excited to render in a logo design as it's quite unusual!

You know why? It will never be 100% ready. It will never be 100% perfect. Or bug free. Your website will need tweaking, updating, and a zhuzhing up here and there every now and then (as I do with cushions every time I pass by the couch).

You have more portfolio galleries to share? Post them later. Google will love you for producing fresh content frequently. You want to change your headshots? Go ahead and update them every season if you wish. You can even tweak your copy to make sure it's up to date with your latest offerings. You should be making these updates anyway, even if your website was perfect when you launched it. (but realistically, no website ever is.)

It is unbelievably easy to use the Generative Fill It is unbelievably easy to use the Generative Fill tool on Photoshop 2024! The latest version of the software has a much more powerful version of the AI and is capable of doing so much more than just remove backgrounds from photos.

Here are step by step instructions on how I changed the art inside the frame using this tool. All in a matter of seconds.

And then of course I tried doing it manually and ended up liking the result more. 😂 but that's just me! It really is a very easy tool to use.

Have you tried it? And can you tell which one is not AI generated?
