these paper poppies are absolutely pretty! the tutorial can be found at martha stewart (where else?)
you can resize the petal template and make a giant blossom that would make a perfectly gorgeous gift topper. brightly colored paper would be really pretty, but if you want a more sophisticated look, use neutral hues (like robin’s egg blues, blush pinks, peaches, creams and mocha).

you know, i love using poppies as my centrepieces for dinners because they really last for at least a week and a half before they wilt (and theyre not expensive,too)…;-) this is much better, this doesnt wilt! 😉 i might try this soon (in this lifetime!)..thanks for sharing,patricia;-)
