I have a confession. One of the reasons I haven’t really been blogging (or tweeting for that matter) is that I find Instagram so much fun. If you want to know what currently inspires me, what projects I’ve been working on, or how I’ve been decorating and organizing our home lately, follow me on Instagram. I also post lots and lots of food pictures!
I hadn’t been taking Instagram seriously (or rather, with much enthusiasm) until about 8 months ago, I think. Iphoneography has really opened up a whole new world for me. It is so easy to snap photos of everything that strikes my fancy now. And with apps like PicTapGo and Snapseed, I can even edit them on the go without having to upload them to my desktop. Getting my iPhone 5S also meant better photos, so I hardly ever edit them now except to crop or add an occasional filter here and there.
My lovely friend Martine nicely suggested that I create hashtags for my posts, so I did. 🙂 You can find interesting stuff by searching #fancygirlhome for home decorating and organizing inspiration; #fancygirlkitchen shows my own kitchen adventures (I either prepare really healthy low-carb food, or super sinful baked goodies and rich pasta & casseroles), #fancygirleats are my dining out posts.
But that’s not all I post, of course. 🙂 You can also find my calligraphy efforts, small watercolor projects, and other fancy stuff. 🙂
Go follow me on instagram now. 🙂 I promise, there aren’t a lot of selfies on it!
I’m a follower!!! I love your #fancygirlhome photos. 🙂
I also have that hashtag kind of thing in my posts, like #bebengcooks, #bebengeats, #bebengloves and #littlebebeng. I wish I’d have an iPhone soon so I could take better photos as I’m only using a Samsung S3 mini. Love your calligraphy posts, too! <3
Thanks Denise! Yes, I noticed your hashtags. Good idea!
I always enjoy looking through your IG feed, Pat. You keep me inspired. 🙂
PS
I love your selfies too! You have flawless and youthful skin. I also love the occasional appearances of your bagets. 🙂
Haha! Thanks Cherry!
