Fluffy Pwets is the first ever line of hybrid fitted cloth diapers in the Philippines. Tina, the owner (who also happens to be a lawyer and a mom), approached me to design their website and asked for a baby and mom-friendly, organic, inviting look. She wanted lots of textures and watercolor illustrations, and I was very happy to oblige.
This was the mood board that I curated based on her pins. Don’t you just love the images she picked out?
I love her choice of colours! They’re fun, but soft, and the textures really play nicely into giving it an organic feel. They already had a logo, but she wanted to add watercolors of cute baby animals with balloons and fluffy clouds to be used all over the site. She was very particular about the look and feel that she wanted, and also about what goes into the homepage.
Each slide on the homepage has a special design, and you can see the illustrations peeking out in various pages as well. It was so much fun to work on this one, as my task was to make everything as cute and inviting as possible! The buttons for the featured pages and social media icons are also styled to match everything else. Every little detail had to be just right.
Here is the homepage.

About page.
The site is not all fluff, of course. It has a solid foundation built on the Genesis Framework (like all my WordPress themes). The shopping cart system we used here is Woocommerce, and Tina got fantastic help from Marge Aberasturi of VA Support Pro for the setup.
I made sure that the site looks good on mobile devices, particularly since the homepage has lots of different elements that needed to rearrange themselves nicely on tablets and smartphones, as well as on large screens. It’s not enough that the entire page resizes, you have to think of the optimum layout in various screens.
Do check out the site!
That is super adorable! I love all the elements you put there!
Thanks Ceemee! They were fun to draw too! 🙂
