Julie Leonard is a life coach for women based in Munich, Germany. Her aim is to support women to reach their potential in all aspects of their life, and feel happy. She also offers aromatherapy massage and products, as well as workshops, courses and speaking events. Julie booked both brand strategy and website design, and Ginny Krauss did a fabulous job with her brand strategy that it was almost a breeze when I went in to design her logo and website.
Being a personal brand, Julie wanted a logo and website that reflected her personality. She loves the color blue, and didn’t want her brand to look at all girly.
This is the mood board that I came up with. The blues are strong, but soft, showing genuineness and empathy.
Her logo is a combination of hand-written script and a widely-spaced serif. Again, reflecting her own personality and aesthetics while looking professional and authentic.
I love how Ginny was able to direct even her brand photos! Julie has one of the most on-brand headshots of all our clients, from her outfit to the places where they shot her portraits. And can I say how gorgeous Munich is?! I really have to go there soon.
The colors of her photos really go well with her logo, and I used the same fonts throughout for a consistent look. Her website is modern, professional, mobile responsive, and is easy to navigate no matter what the device.
Her homepage contains all pertinent information, and is a great summary of what you can expect from her website. And yes, Ginny also worked with her to make sure her copy was perfect! This is why you need a brand coach, y’all!
My favourite feature is the off-screen sign up form that I placed on the upper right corner of her website. It’s not in-your-face annoying like a pop-up, and it’s very clean, and minimalist.
Do check out her website!
