I had the loveliest time designing this custom logo! Julia Bruton got in touch with me recently and said that she loved my work, and wanted an amazing logo done because she was changing her company name. Right from the start she specified that she wanted a watercolor style with handwritten fonts. I was so excited to start! I’ve been wishing someone would order a logo in this style and it finally came true!
First, I did some rose studies in watercolor.
I opted for a very soft, watery style to give it a dreamy, feminine look. Then I worked on a couple of design options with different layouts and typography, which I sent to Julia.
She loved the second one as it is! In her own words: “I really really love the one with two roses and the vine underneath. It’s amazing! “ This style is perfect for her business, which she describes as artistic, laid back, fun, creative, and personal. She’s an outdoor, natural light photographer who loves to work with young families and couples.
Here is the brand board that I created for her new logo.

You already know I love it! Thanks again!
I’m also a photographer who loves to capture in natural light. This is such a perfect logo for your client. I love the colors and the texture (very soft and soothing) too. 🙂 Lovely work!
Thank you for the lovely words!
