As you’ll probably guess after reading this, my last post about monograms was a prelude to sharing this logo design that I created for a fabulous client, Valerie Zayco. Valerie also happens to live in Singapore, and we were introduced by a common friend, also another client, Mia Jaranilla of www.miaymarch.com. Valerie is a hugely successful entrepreneur who manages several businesses (she’s amazing, I tell you!). Recently, she asked me to redesign her logo for VZV Home & Fashion, to give it a look that was “stylish, chic, modern, timeless, preppy with an edge, luxe“.
This was the inspiration board that we worked with. Valerie wanted a combination of blush and champagne gold, and took much of the design inspiration from Ivanka Trump’s and Tory Burch’s logo. I really enjoyed working with this color palette! Isn’t it gorgeous?!

I started by giving her a few sketches to see what catches her eye. Below is the actual scanned page from my sketchbook. (This is how I brainstorm designs most of the time, I always start with pencil sketches.)
FINAL BRAND STYLING
THE FULL LOGO WITH PATTERN
I love how the background pattern of the mirror image of V made sparkles all over. 🙂
