Mia Marchadesch-Jaranilla is a lifestyle and portrait photographer and blogger based in Bangkok. She asked for a total redesign of her logo, branding, and website just recently. I designed her website a couple of years ago, but she designed her old logo. This time, to make branding more consistent, I redid everything from the ground up. She wanted a softer palette of saffron yellow and grey, with just a hint of soft blue (it used to be black and white) to tie up nicely with her new catchphrase: love in pictures.
Here is her brand board:
Quickpen is fast becoming one of my favourite typefaces! I love that it’s clean, but looks very much handwritten. And is very close to my own handwriting too!
Here is how her logo design looks across various printed stationery.
After we finalized the logo, we worked on her website design. Mia’s site has a styled homepage with various links to different pages of her site, an integrated blog, and 2 general gallery pages that link to individual portfolio galleries. The overall look is clean, soft, with lots of white space. The site is mobile responsive, of course.
