I’m so happy to share this logo and website design that we did for Pea to Tree Events! Georgette booked the Ultimate Wedding Branding Experience, which is a service that we provide wedding professionals in need of a makeover for their logo and website. Ginny Krauss and I had so much fun working with Georgette on her unique brand. She specializes in planning and designing high end multi-cultural weddings and events. Her logo and brand had to reflect that. We were definitely not doing blush and gold this time!
Here is the color inspiration board that we worked with.
I just love the rich, vivid hues! We were going for fun, modern, creative, edgy, but luxurious and over the top. You’ll understand why when you see her work!
Here is the updated logo that I designed for Pea to Tree. It features an ornate mandala design with intricate scroll-work in her brand colors. The goal was to convey a luxurious multi-cultural look, but also symbolize growth and family togetherness.
As we moved on to the website, Georgette’s main concerns were that it should be easy to navigate, mobile responsive, and should avoid having viewers to click on so many pages to get to the information they want. I therefore designed an informational homepage, with a call to action at the very end.
It was a major makeover for her website! Just take a look at the before image:
Then take a look at her homepage AFTER the makeover:
When viewed on a laptop, you only see the top part, which showcases her best work in a slider. Scrolling down gives the viewer an introduction to her business, and a welcome note to her website, with links to her important pages.
I’m blown away by her creativity and talent! I made sure we used the best of her styled shoots on her pages, so potential clients can see just how amazingly talented she is.
The site is of course, mobile responsive and built on the Genesis Framework, like all my other web design projects. I really love how it came out, and how clean and organized it all looks! Do check it out here.
If you want to see my other projects, do check out my portfolio. That’s where I post them now. Only a few of my favorites are featured on the blog.
