Almibar is a truly elegant classic script type. It was designed by Manuel Eduardo Corradine, of Corradine Fonts. It’s perfect for formal, classic pieces like invitations, menus, or logos. I personally love the clean lines and the swashes and stylistic alternates that you can access if you have open-type aware applications like Photoshop or Illustrator. It’s easy readability makes it perfect for website titles as well (but only in large sizes of at least 30px).
Here’s a favourite quote that I made into a poster. Feel free to pin away!
Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum
it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to
everything. Do you have any tips and hints for rookie blog writers?
I’d certainly appreciate it.
I’d take a blogging course! I’m a rookie writer too, and blog coaching has helped me a lot. You can also read Blog, Inc. It’s a great book.
