Bringing back my font crush series with this lovely font from Sudtipos, one of the top font foundries in the known universe. Seriously, every time Sudtipos releases a new font, I have to use all my willpower not to buy it right away. This Argentinean type foundry is multi-awarded and has several gorgeous fonts in their collection (most of which I have).
Learning calligraphy has given me a better understanding of, and a deeper appreciation for how fonts are designed. I love that most base characters in Platinus Script Pro are made up of a single stroke, with some of the strokes driven from the top down, and some from the bottom up, putting the emphasis on the casual but precise fluidity of the hand, an emphasis magnified by the expert use of loops and swashes everywhere. I wish I could write like this! It’s pretty and delicate and would really look good on wedding invitations, product packaging, and greeting cards.
Ooooh… i love this font, Pat! Can I still use this??
Hi Grace! Yes, if you want to replace the current one. 🙂
