Every time I feel like a creative block coming on, I make sure to work on a personal project. It helps me develop my artistic voice, to freely express my creativity without regard for a design brief or brand message. The happy result is that it also develops my skills because I can experiment without fear of failure, so in effect, it also grows me as an artist.
Yesterday I was inspired to create phone backgrounds after seeing some watercolour florals that I’ve saved (just in case I needed them). I decided on a muted palette because that’s what I love. Feel free to download these and use them on your iPhones or iPads. Note that some of these will only look great on a lock screen, because the pattern might be too busy. But you can pair it with a matching gradient background for the home screen.
INSTRUCTIONS:
To save on an iPhone or iPad: press + hold on the image, save. You can set separate lockscreen and home wallpapers under your phone settings.
To save on your computer: right click on the image, save.
