It’s the most wonderful time of the year indeed! One of the highlights of my vacation was getting the chance to meet some of my wonderful clients in person. We had a lovely lunch at Kettle in Shangrila Mall, a restaurant I’ve been dying to try since I read about it on one of my clients’ blog.
This has been such a great year, and I’m truly thankful for all the blessings. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the most amazing people, a lot of whom I now count as friends. My dream is to have everyone I ever worked with in one great party! But as I work mainly with international clients, it’s a bit hard to pull off!
These are the pictures from that lovely lunch. Excuse the quality, I just took them hurriedly on my phone. And really, we were all too busy talking!
Kettle’s Pork and Potato Strips. You don’t know how long I’ve been craving for this one!
Kettle House Salad – A simple salad mix of Romaine and Arugula with Manchego Cheese, toffee walnuts in a berry vinaigrette dressing and a sprinkling of bacon.
Their famous buttermilk fried chicken. This was so good! I love that they serve it with gravy AND honey.
All smiles prior to eating. haha! And yes, that’s my Raoul being his cheeky self. We had just come from errands prior to the get-together.
The lovely Grace Baja, aka The Spoiled Mummy (thespoiledmummy.com), showing off her TSM bag and the floral alphabet print I gave her.
I finally met Sabrina! I love her blog! (sinfullysabrina.com). And she brought some bacon chocolate chip cookies that she made herself! Isn’t she pretty in a classic movie kind of way?
I’m so happy that Frances Sales, a veteran blogger (Topaz Mommy and Topaz Horizon, both of which I designed) and magazine editor, was able to join us. And she brought her cute little Piero along! He is hands-down the most charming baby I’ve ever met!
Here is Martine (makeitblissful.com), 7 or 8 months pregnant, playing with Piero.
Another group picture, this time more complete!
Marilen Faustino-Montenegro (marilen.ph), and Marge Aberasturi (thehappywahm.com).
I was awestruck with this lovely lady. She glows. She really does! And she’s so beautiful inside and out!
Martine, blog coach extraordinaire, worked with me on Grace’s site (and a lot of my other clients as well). She did the editorial direction, I did the design and coding. It’s always fun working with these two ladies! Never mind how long the process takes. hahahah.
Most of my clients know Jenn Tan, aka The Techie Mom (thetechiemom.com). I collaborate with her on almost all my projects! She takes away the headache for me – migrates my clients’ sites, installs WordPress & whatever plugins are required, and does troubleshooting as well. She makes it possible for me to concentrate on design and coding, so she’s such a treasure! I truly can never do as much as I do without her help.
We headed of to Spatzle for dessert, to have this gorgeously rich Frozen Brazo de Mercedes.
“Class picture” outside the restaurant. Thank you for the awesome time, ladies! It was really lovely being with all of you!
Pat, you are soooo sweet! And I’m so honored and kilig to be a part of this amazing group of ladies. I’m so happy to have met you finally in person! You are the sweetest and Raoul is too cute!
I’m also grateful to have met the person who made my dream blog come to life!!!
I hope to see you soon when I visit Singapore! Kisses!:)
