PROJECT TYPE: BASIC LOGO DESIGN
It was such a joy to work with Bryhannon Natale on her new line of skincare! We have worked previously when I designed her main brand, The Soap Block (still to be featured!). Green Theory is the skincare line that stems off The Soap Block. Naturally, we wanted it to have a clear identity but also compliment TSB. The same overall vision applies: to provide all-natural high quality products with the best ingredients, geared towards healthy skincare and a healthy planet.
The one thing that Bryhannon specified when we discussed the design direction was that the brand should look luxurious – so that when placed beside your Chanel No. 5 bottle, the products will look like they belong. They should feel natural and organic without looking rustic.
MOODBOARD AND COLOR PALETTE

The color palette has muted earth tones for a very soothing, natural vibe. She wanted to include emerald, but I determined that a darker muted green would pair well with the overall mood of the palette.
I love these colours! They bring such a refined, calming presence and would also look great in interior design!
LOGO DESIGN
Bryhannon is an artist herself, which is probably why it was so easy discussing ideas with her — and she has really good taste! The one element she wanted to include in her logo design was a soft line art illustration of women’s faces.
I had so much fun sketching out ideas, but this is what we decided to use:

(One of my friends said this actually looks like me and my sister. I don’t see it, but I thought it was funny!) I traced this on Procreate before exporting it to Illustrator to vectorize it.
COMPLETE LOGO WITH VARIATIONS



The typography is clean, with a timeless and refined aesthetic. Easy to read at small sizes too. We decided on two circular emblems, one with the illustration, and one with a monogram.

And like that, a logo was born. I will scream her name from the mountain tops, as she’s the best thing that could happen to any business! Patricia, you’ve outdone yourself, once again! Thank you from the bottom of my heart… If you need branding, she’s your girl. Also, the BIGGEST sweetheart.
