House of Style Interiors

PROJECT: PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE DESIGN WITH E-COMMERCE

House of Style Interiors is an award winning interior design firm, specializing in full service interior design, turn key interiors and custom window treatments. Yelena Gerts, owner and a principal designer, is known for her luxurious and elegant spaces. Yelena offers personalized service and a cutting edge style. With a great eye for color and unique details, she works closely with her clients to help them create the homes of their dreams.

Yelena approached me early this year to give her website a major makeover. We moved it from Squarespace to WordPress and worked on giving it a clean, luxurious, and modern look that would reflect her brand and her work.

MOODBOARD

I love the moodboard and color palette! Shades of pale gold, light gray and charcoal give a very modern and luxurious vibe. Isn’t it gorgeous?

(I only wish we could have redesigned the logo to match, but she wanted to keep her old one.)

WEBSITE DESIGN

The homepage sets the tone for the website, and gives the site visitor a clear idea of what to expect. We decided to showcase Yelena’s favorite projects on the full-width slider, but hand-picked those that worked well with the color palette.

The rest of the pages follow the same aesthetic, with consistent typography, colors, and styling. I love that Yelena invested in fabulous brand imagery – we had a lot of great images to choose from, and used them liberally throughout the site. It makes such a huge difference!

The website also has e-commerce functionality, a full portfolio gallery, and an integrated blog. It is mobile responsive, of course, and built on the Genesis Framework. Do check it out!
