Logo Design for Flutterby Parties

This is sort of a late post. No, make that super late post! I did this fun logo design for Flutterby Parties last year. Last year! And I haven’t featured it yet! Flutterby Parties is a party supplier – in the UK – that provides face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon decor, balloon sculpting, princess and character visits, crafting, and everything else that makes parties fun for kids. Katie, the wonderful owner, wanted a logo design that was premium, colourful, girly, and fun.

My own aesthetic vacillates between chic minimalism or elaborate frou frou. (I like both in equal measures, and love coming up with designs that alternate between the two.) This was definitely not a minimalist design! The logo had to capture all the energy of her company and the fantasy that it provides.

Here are the options we considered. I picked fonts that were elaborate and girly, with lots of swirls and flourishes. Her colour palette is naturally bright and colourful!
