The fun exuberance of last week's moodboard is directly contrasted by this week's pared down aesthetic. Both of which I love in equal measures. Sometimes I feel the need for a calming classic like this. Other times I prefer something fun and exciting. How about you?

So what do you gorgeous people think of Viva Magenta, the @pantone color of the year for 2023?

It’s bold, vibrant, and exuberant, but when used sparingly, and paired with softer colours, can give a fresh punch of wit to a safe colour palette. Would I use it to paint an entire room? Definitely not. But I have used velvet ribbons in this colour for Christmas presents, paired with taupe wrapping paper, and it looked great. I’d probably even wear this colour, come to think of it. Never mind if I’ll look like a giant flower. 😂

It's the most exciting thing when a website is this close to launch! For me, it's like giving birth to a long awaited baby.

We had to fix some server-side issues (seriously guys, don't get hosting from Godaddy), but it's all good now, and we're prepping for the launch party. Will share more gorgeous details soon!

Do you send a welcome brochure? If you hesitate to post your prices on your website, the welcome deck or welcome brochure is hands down the best way to answer that awkward question: 'how much do you charge?'

And that's not the only thing it's for. Strategically designed and planned, it can showcase your brilliance, set expectations (outline your process), and ensure that your clients know what it's like to work with you.

You can also use it as a conversation guide when you're meeting clients for the first time. Have your welcome deck on your iPad and you can guide the discussion by going over the main points. Without the need for a wifi connection. Isn't that useful?
