My love for fonts is greater than my love for shoes.
And I really really love shoes. This designer’s heart beats ever so fast when introduced to exquisitely designed typefaces. I can’t help it. It’s a fever that consumes me and doesn’t let go until I purchase said typeface and add it to my ever-increasing library of fonts.
The very thing happened yesterday when I got an email from MyFonts featuring this gorgeous new font called Coco Gothic. It was love at first sight all over again!
I mean, just take a look at it! It’s a modern take on geometric sans serif, and looks a lot like Brandon Grotesque but with a much nicer name. haha! It comes in 6 weights, from ultra light to fat, giving you so many possibilities for typography projects!
Of course I had to try it out asap!
I’m absolutely crushing on how the uppercase G looks. And oh my gucci, you should see the ampersand!
Take a look at these 2 posters I created. I love how you can mix up several weights and vary them to provide emphasis without having to use another font.

Coco Gothic looks stunning. It’s nice to hear someone else’s font obsession problems. The designers I hang out with are the same as well. The layout and examples you gave are nice. I can see what it is the font can do. Or better phrase what can be done with it. I’ll first down load the free sample. Give it a test run and see it it’s for me. 😊
