My shopping list is almost all ticked off, but it seems that I need to replenish one item that is fast disappearing: pineapple tarts. We have so far eaten through our stash and will have to order some more.
These special pineapple tarts are the softest I have ever tried. They really melt in your mouth, and are as tangy as they are sweet. It’s a perfect balance of taste and texture.

We also really love the traditional nyonya pineapple tarts. It has a generous helping of pineapple paste on top of golden buttery crumbly crust. You can smell the sweetness of the pineapple when you pop it into your mouth, and is more chewy than the pineapple balls, which I prefer. I just love the old-fashioned taste of these, and they look really pretty when you arrange them on a plate! Will definitely be ordering more.
