LOLU L'Amour Photography is a fine art wedding photographer based in Florida who specializes in romantic, emotion-filled photographs of all of life's special occasions. In her own words, she wants clients "to feel like they are living in a fairy tale, a love story, a romantic film of their own."
The focus on romance and poetry was evident every time I had a chance to talk to My Hoang, the vivacious photographer behind the brand. We worked together to design a visual brand identity, brand positioning, and a website design to convey all that to her ideal clients.
MOODBOARD & COLOUR PALETTE
Graceful, romantic, and intuitive, with great attention to detail, the vision board for LOLU L'Amour has an artistic, ethereal quality. Cool muted tones convey the same look and feel.
LOGO DESIGN
The client wanted her logo to be romantic, graceful, and elegant, but with an Asian touch, so we got inspiration from chinoiserie wallpaper designs. The bird is a nod to her name's meaning.
The typography is very feminine, refined, and graceful.

WEBSITE DESIGN
It was a dream working with My of LOLU L'Amour on her visual brand identity and website. She's such a talented photographer, and a really nice person! She also understood the assignment, and delivered a perfectly curated gallery of showstopping images. I wanted to make sure that her website showcased her amazing work, and make it easy for people to find what they're looking for. We did quite a bit of re-organization to improve the user experience and flow. (Something I always try to do, because making your website easy for people to use and navigate is one of my top goals.)
In order to pull in the look from her brand to her website, I used the illustrations as dividers and borders, making her website ultra feminine, ultra romantic! Do check it out!
