PROJECT TYPE: FULL BRANDING SUITE
Natalie Calvano owns a ballet school in North Carolina, and she is now venturing into interior design. Her mission is to create beautiful sanctuaries for her clients. Natalie’s attention to detail is amazing, and it was such a treat to work with her on her logo design and coordinating stationery suite.
I asked her to pick 3 keywords to describe her brand, and she chose tailored, timeless, and sophisticated. We curated her Pinterest board and came up with this moodboard and color palette:
Rich tones of classic blue, hunter green, paired with black and gold give it a very timeless, upscale vibe. Natalie loves classic colors, with rich blues and greens, and specifically asked for a touch of metallic gold.
I designed two options for Natalie’s logo:
Natalie picked design 1, which I then developed into a full brand identity suite. The emblem is made up of interlocking C’s, taken from a glyph alternate of the letter C in her main font. It gives a very tailored, classic look.
