PROJECT TYPE: FULL BRANDING SUITE + PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE DESIGN
Ophelia Blake is an innovative interior design studio in London, offering a unique, fresh, practical and eye-inspiring approach to all things interiors.
Scarlett and Helen, the designers behind Ophelia Blake, are Fine Artists who create art through the design of interior spaces. They wanted their brand to be trend sensitive, modern, arty and professional.ย I worked with them earlier this year on their logo design, brand identity, and website design.
The Pinterest board exercise was very helpful with this project – it helped me ensure that the clients and I were on the same page regarding the visual inspirations, especially what they considered “modern & arty”, as those kept appearing in our conversations.
MOODBOARD
The moodboard I curated with them includes images that speak to the client’s overall style – modern, arty, fluid, and timeless. The palette is composed of classic neutrals; colours that will never go out of style.
LOGO DESIGN
It was important to them to have an emblem that conveyed what they did, as well as how (their style). We did a few iterations of the sketch, refining details here and there, until they were absolutely satisfied. The final version is replete with symbolism – it looks a bit like a floor plan, there is modern art in it (a custom design I created), and it has elements of interiors and architecture.
STATIONERY DESIGN
The website is so stylish and chic, and is one of my favourites! I’m so happy that we managed to pull this off even if they didn’t have a lot of images yet. The styling of the website compensated for that. Do check it out!
