Poppy Home Design is an interior design firm in Maryland with the most delightful brand. They specialize in full-home renovations, furnishing projects, and in bringing a spirit of fun in everything they do. And I can attest to this, since collaborating with them was such a wonderful experience.
The brand keywords of fun, delightful, welcoming, but timeless and refined meant that the brand had to be colorful and fun, with early summer vibes. They had a previous logo that they asked me to refine so it would be more elegant and timeless; we also created a color palette and typography system to match, and then we designed and crafted their website to delight their ideal clients with their work.
MOODBOARD & COLOUR PALETTE
The palette is closer to the early days of summer, when the sun can be intense, and so colors do look a bit faded, but all the flowers are in full bloom, and the gardens are lush. We included some spring sensibilities, in the happy, cheerful patterns and florals, but with much more refined subtleties of summer to balance it. The moodboard itself has a very classic American vibe, very Hamptons in the summer.
And of course, any moodboard with Iris Apfel in it is already winning!

Their website design shows how a fun, colorful, and cheerful brand can still be elegant, polished, and professional. These interior designers want the homes that they design to give people joy. And that's what we wanted for the website as well. They wanted their website to reflect their brand, their own personalities, as well as their love for color.
