PROJECT: BASIC LOGO DESIGN + STARTER WEBSITE DESIGN
Sugar Branch Events is a California-based event planning & design business run by 2 sisters who hail from the East Coast. Debbie and Regina specialize in blueprint packages for all types of evens, and not just weddings. Their ideal client is more affluent, and they wanted to project a brand that is sleek, sassy, and sophisticated.
MOODBOARD
The color palette is inspired by a smokey eye – gunmetal gray, deep blues, and a soft cream for balance.
LOGO DESIGN
The concept for their logo design is Manhattan sleek and Sex in the City. Ginny Krauss described the brand strategy so well, I knew just exactly what look they were going for.

Here is the complete logo set, with alternates and a submark. They wanted to include a dark watercolor wash as part of their brand, so I also designed a custom texture for them.
BRAND GUIDE
They also asked for custom brochures with a magazine cover look, which they will display in upscale hotels in Southern California.

WEBSITE DESIGN
The website design had to be sleek, sassy, and sophisticated too! Really love how the script font gives it such a sexy accent. Note that we only used it for really large accent text, and not for the body font.
