INDUSTRY: Interior Design
Kirsten Flynn is an interior designer in San Francisco who specializes in sustainable design. She works with people who care about the world - designing beautiful, healthy and comfortable homes.
She believes good design is a joy, and improves lives, but it can be challenging .Her superpowers are making a client's dreams real, making vintage items fresh and new, and making projects healthy for the world, and the homeowner. It was such a joy and a learning experience working with her!
MOODBOARD & COLOUR PALETTE

The color palette is fresh, clean, and timeless. No dull or pale colors here. Kirsten is passionate about her business and her advocacy, and is also pretty vibrant herself. I try to infuse my client's personality into her brand, especially if she's an essential part of it. Being a former textile designer, Kirsten had very specific ideas about using natural textures in the moodboard. We brought that all in when we curated this.
It was also important not to make the moodboard look too mid-century modern, even if it's a design style that she's very well known for. Our aim was to make it more timeless, and yet fun and dynamic. Not too hippie, not too modern, and very approachable.

BRAND GUIDE

WEBSITE DESIGN

Fully capturing the eclectic green aesthetic and ethos of Kirsten, the website is fun and vibrant, but clean and easy to navigate. It's more wordy than most websites, but then Kirsten is an advocate, not just a designer. There are lots of touch points, and I made sure the long texts are broken up into bite size pieces for readability.
Her carefully curated galleries only show the projects she is proudest of, and want to be known for. Headshots are relaxed, full of personality and color, very unpretentious! The website carries the same aesthetic and is designed to showcase as well as educate. It's fully mobile responsive, of course!
