TEEL SPACES

PROJECT TYPE:
  • BASIC LOGO DESIGN
  • SEMI-CUSTOM WEBSITE DESIGN

INDUSTRY: INTERIOR DESIGN
LOCATION: TULSA, OKLAHOMA

Katie of Teel Spaces came to us seeking a brand identity that would capture her distinctive design philosophy: classic interiors with rustic equestrian elegance. Her ideal client is a sophisticated Tulsa-area homeowner who values timeless design and isn't afraid to invest in creating a space that feels both elevated and livable.

We developed a brand that balances refinement with warmth—sophisticated without feeling unobtainable, classic without being stuffy. The visual identity incorporates subtle equestrian touches that nod to Oklahoma's heritage while maintaining the polished, upscale aesthetic her clientele expects. Rich, warm tones and thoughtful typography communicate the comfortable luxury that defines her work.

The semicustom website showcases her portfolio with an emphasis on the livable elegance she's known for, making it easy for discerning homeowners to envision their own transformation. The result is a cohesive brand presence that attracts clients who are ready to invest in timeless, sophisticated spaces—one thoughtfully designed room at a time.

WEBSITE DESIGN

Katie chose the Beaumont template for her semi-custom website.

You can see how we've customized it to fit her brand, and carefully curated the project gallery to showcase only her best work. The result is stunning, high-end, but warm and approachable, and showcases her enduring, elegant style.

Positioning is a decision.
You don’t wait to be selected by whoever inquires. You choose.
Choose who you want to work with, what you want to be known for, and how you want your business to be perceived.
That’s positioning.

The custom monogram forms the letters H and A, but if you look at it long enough, you'll notice the curves of the letter A forms a letter L - which stands for Lisa, the founder's name.
We wanted the brand to look and feel premium but welcoming, as befits her years of experience and level of expertise.
The typefaces surfacing this week share a theme: n The typefaces surfacing this week share a theme: not serifs broadly, but a specific vintage register, letterforms with visible weight variation, a slightly worn edge, the sense that someone drew them by hand.
The Ashcombe Hall has the gravity of a country house library, the kind of face you'd expect stamped in gold on a leather spine. Vintage Serenade moves looser, more lyrical, closer to something a calligrapher would have signed.
Design has swung this way before. When the Industrial Revolution made everything fast and identical, William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement answered with ornament, with craft, with the visible mark of the maker. The clean grid had its long turn at the wheel. This particular kind of type, textured, hand-cut, carrying a sense of history in the strokes, is having its own.
The antiques returning to people's living rooms and this type returning to branding are doing the same work. Both are reminding us a skilled hand was involved.
