Every site is tested on a separate staging site to make sure everything works; and once all content styling is finalized the site will then be transferred to the client's live site. You should purchase your own domain name and hosting plan, but I will be happy to assist you with the setup. Shopify design services also available.

THE DESIGN PROCESS
Get to know our unique, collaborative method for crafting beautiful brands and websites. The Design Process is an organized flow of activity between you and me, so that you know what to expect during our time together. Each step is meant to help you achieve your intentions for the design of your brand, so that it can support you in achieving your goals for your business.
Step 1: Inquiry, Discovery, & Acceptance
Any potential working relationship begins with proper introductions, so please fill out my Inquiry Form to get started. Your form will be reviewed within 24 to 48 hours (except weekends).
Once I have assessed that the design project you described is a good fit for our design studio, you will receive an email from me with a Project Quote. This will indicate the estimated price of the project, and its inclusions. If you approve of my Project Quote, you will need to email me your acceptance (A simple, “Yes! Let’s get started, Patricia,” will suffice).
Once I receive your acceptance email, I shall send you a contract to sign, and then invoice you for the downpayment of your design job order. Then we're all set to start!
Step 2: Design Brief & Moodboard
This is the fun part for a lot of clients! After you have made the down payment, I will send you the link to my Design Questionnaire, which you must fill out completely and in detail. You will also be asked to create a Pinterest board of your visual inspirations. This is a crucial step in the process. Don't worry, I will guide you.
After you email me your completed Design Questionnaire, I will then email you back, indicating that I will begin working on your project. Upon studying your Design Questionnaire and Pinterest board, I will create a Mood Board based on your answers. A Mood Board provides the direction for your design project’s colour palette and overall brand style.
Web design clients will also receive a content guide and checklist of everything you need to prepare in order to get started on the web design. Your complete and final copy and images are needed in order to start the process. I design based on content.
Step 3: Presentation & Refinement
Once you approve the Mood Board, I will get working on your 2 initial design concepts, which will be crafted based on the factors you have outlined in the Design Questionnaire and your Pinterest board. You will choose ONE (1) of these design concepts for me to further develop and refine, based on your direction and feedback. (It's a very consultative process.)
At this point, you will have the chance to review and request up to three rounds of refinements to your chosen design concept, until you are absolutely happy with it. Any other revisions in excess of the standard three rounds will be billed accordingly.
For website clients, approval of the homepage mockup leads to the next step - testing the design and functions on one of my staging sites, so you can see it "live". You will have 7 days to review the site and give feedback for edits and corrections.
Step 4: Finalization & Completion
The fourth and final step of our Design Process is the Final Design Proof and Payment of the Balance. This is when your design project finally meets your criteria and you are completely satisfied with it! I will prepare the final deliverables — whether they are brand files or the final website theme and page styling — and send you your final balance via PayPal, which I request you pay in the most timely fashion.
Once the Final Balance has been paid, I will complete the project: (a) install your website's template files and pages; (b) and/or deliver the complete digital files of your brand identity design for submission to you; and anything other deliverables included in the project.
