There is something about watercolor paintings that I find so beautiful. Perhaps it’s partly because it is such a difficult medium – it’s almost impossible to correct mistakes. Now we can convert anything we want into a watercolor painting, thanks to a wonderful new app called Waterlogue!
Interior designers have been the fastest to use it, turning their work into gorgeous watercolors in an instant. I couldn’t wait to try it out, so I took photos of our home using my iPhone 5s and ran them on the app. Of course, you wouldn’t get the editing effect that only an artist’s practised eye and talent can give you, but these are really wonderful! Expect to see a lot of watercolors on my instagram feed now. hahaha! 🙂
Our living room.
The reading nook.
My arrangement on the tv console.
Fresh lilies that are finally in bloom. They give such a wonderful fragrance, don’t you think?
My white kitchen.
Our bed.
My home office in all its clutter.
The living room window.
My reading corner in the bedroom.
They really look like watercolor paintings, don’t they? How much is this wonderful genius of an app? Only $3! It’s amazing! Are you going to buy it too? Do you have other favorite apps you would recommend? Let me know in the comments!
So beautiful!!! Im tempted to buy!!! 🙂
I’m already an addict of the app! hahahaha! I tried printing out some of them, and they turned out great. Frame-able! 🙂
Awww, the app’s for Mac products lang pala hehe! I hope there’s something like this for Android phones! It’s really very pretty! Not just the watercolor effect but your house as well!
Oh, yeah, it’s only for iPads and iPhones. Sorry, Leah! 🙂 I’m sure they’ll come up with an Android version soon.
Hi Patricia
The examples look fantastic – you’re an artist and you didn’t know it.
hahaha! Thanks Keith! It’s a great app. I think I’m addicted now. 🙂
The watercolor artwork is beautiful because the subjects are already beautiful!
Oh, Toni, you are too sweet! 🙂 Thank you for saying that! But the app is really wonderful, I’m now totally addicted to it. hahaha!
