There are so many talented photographers today, but not all of them produce photographs that are also works of art. Sarah Gardner is one of those few. She’s amazing!!! I’ve been a fan of her since I chanced upon her website so many years ago. Her style is absolutely lovely! I look at her flower pictures every time I need inspiration. There is something about her use of tones and textures that calms my spirit and makes it sigh. I love that even though she processes them (she wrote Art Beyond the Lens, after all), they still look authentic.
Today, I’m featuring a few of her photographs that I used to create a mood board. I will be featuring more of her lovely masterpieces later, but I chose these because they share the same tones, and two of them feature tulips! I love tulips!!! Next to peonies, they are my favourite flowers. 🙂
(she creates and sells her own textures and photoshop actions too!)
(that tulip in a blue bowl! swoon!)
I’m not particularly fond of orange, but I love it when combined with the many shades of gray. Here is the mood board and colour palette that I came up with, as inspired by Sarah’s photographs. This is a great palette for a logo, blog design, or living room decor! 🙂

Loving the color palette! Tangerine and white, and that lovely blue! <3
Thanks Toni! It’s unusual, and very modern! 🙂
